The Holy Prophet PBUH said “a person always dislike two things (though they are beneficial for him) one of them is death as death is better for him than chaos and sedition and secondly he doesn’t like being pauper and reduction in his wealth when reduction in wealth also lightens and reduces the burden of judgment day. (Masnad Ahmed Maarafal hades page 91)
The matter of wealth and its provision is supervised by Allah only. The Prophet PBUH said some people turns into unbelievers when their wealth is reduced and there are some people who turn into unbelievers when they are affluent. Every person has different moods and dependencies. A dispensary has all types of patient. Doctor prescribe some of them bitter pill as sweets would deteriorate his illness and. Similarly those who have recovered with only weakness left are served with almonds, fruits and butter. وھواللطیف الخبیر Only the creator knows its creation. It is being said that only he knows who created and he knows everything in detail. (Marafatu Ilahiya page 94)
In another hadeeth Hazrat ibne masood related this hadeeth to Holy Prophet PBUH that he said “he who is pauper and seeks other people help will never be relinquished from this condition and he who seeks Allah’s help and support will flourish and be prosperous sooner or after some time”.
Reason of deprivation in wealth: Most people say that everybody in the house works but the resources seems to be meager. They don’t know the reason. The basic reason is that the wealth is not blessed; this is why people fall sick; the resources are not managed in a proper way because of the lack of sanctification of wealth. Your earning is 70000 but god has alleviated your expenditures and if you don’t adopt piousness and fear of god you find it very difficult to meet the expenses no matter what and how you do. Always remember that fear of Allah draws wealth like a magnet. When god sanctifies your wealth he would limit your expenditures and needs.
You will get what is destined: once a person traveled for affluence in wealth but failed to get anything after roving from city to city. So he returned back home with a worse condition. People inquired him of what happened he replied listen I could not get more than my destiny so I returned home as I left it.
